When I discovered this Verizon "application" on the Verizon site, I had hopes for a standalone utility to help manage my DSL connection. I used quotation marks because VerizonInHomeAgent turned out to be task-oriented Help with numerous links to the Verizon website.
For example, the Broadband Speed Test is simply a 2-sentence description + a link to http://www2.verizon.net/micro/speedtest/hsi/
My VerizonInHomeAgent is limited to DSL & billing. Perhaps the FiOS and TV features are more compelling.
